テフェラ大使は、サヘレウォルク・ゼウデ大統領からの挨拶を天皇陛下にお伝えし、在任中の、両国間の更なる協力関係強化の使命を表明しました。陛下は、ご幼少期にご覧になった、1964年東京五輪でのアベベ・ビキラ選手の優勝の思い出を交えてお話しになり、大統領とエチオピア国民の健康と幸福を願われ、テフェラ大使在任中の努力を応援するとのお言葉を述べられました。
Ambassador Tefera Derbew presents his credentials to the Emperor of Japan
H.E. Tefera Derbew Yimam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the Japan, has presented his credentials to the Emperor of Japan, His Majesty Naruhito.
As Per the protocol of the Imperial Household of Japan, the Ambassador was warmly welcomed by the Guard of Honor and H.E. Dr. MAKISHIMA Karen, Minister for Digitalization of Japan.
Ambassador Tefera Derbew has convoy the good wishes of President Sahle-Work Zewde to His Majesty the Emperor. He also expressed his mission to further strengthening the bilateral relationships between the two countries during his tenure.
Reminding the childhood memory of Abebe Bikila victory at Tokyo Olympic in 1964, His Majesty Naruhito wished health and wellbeing to President Sahle-Work Zewde and the people of Ethiopia.
The Emperor reaffirmed support to the Ambassador’s endeavors during tenure.
